1st Year Physics  Pairing Scheme 2021 Marks Distribution

SECTION A ( Objective Part) : MCQs

Section A only consists of 20 MCQs.it is also known as the objective part. Each MCQ consists of 1 mark and there is no choice of any MCQ as in the subjective part paper. 20 minutes are allowed to complete this section. Each MCQ carries equal marks.

As there is limited time so you just need to focus on this section very carefully. After completing Section A, you will be given the Subjective type of paper.

SECTION  B (Subjective Part): Short Questions

Section B is a subjective type of paper. It only consists of short questions.it consists of 3 short answer questions. while Question No. 2 and 3 have 12 short questions from which you need to solve 8 parts of your choice. Question No. 4 contain 9 parts from which you need to solve 6questions of your choice but remember that each part carries equal marks. Each part carries 2 marks.

QUESTION NO. 2:( Any 8 questions from 12) 16 marks.

you just need to solve any 8 questions from 12 and each question carries 2 marks.

4 questions from Chapter 1.

3 questions from Chapter 2.

2 questions and from Chapter 4 and from Chapter 7.

1 question from Chapter 6.

QUESTION NO. 3: Any 8 questions from 12 (16 marks)

you just need to solve any 8 questions from 12 and each question carries 2 marks.

4 questions from Chapter 3, Chapter 5, and from Chapter 8.

QUESTION NO. 4:Any 6 questions from 9 (12 marks questions)

Candidates need to solve any 6 questions from 9 and each question carries 2 marks.

3 questions from Chapter 9, Chapter 10, and from Chapter 11.

SECTION  C (Subjective Part): Long Questions

Section C is a subjective part paper. But it only consists of long questions. It consists of 5 long answer questions, each question is of two parts, part a and part b from which you have to attempt 3 questions out of 5.Solve any 3 questions from 5

QUESTION NO 6: Part (a)  Chapter 4 + Part (b)  Chapter 8.

QUESTION NO 8: Part (a)  Chapter 7 + Part (b)  Chapter 9.

QUESTION NO 9: Part (a)   Chapter 10  + Part (b)  Chapter 11.

Note: Each Part Carry 8 Marks.
