Several COVID patients killed in Turkey hospital fire
The high fire started suddenly due to the oxygen used for the treatment of COVID-19 patients
Almost 10 patients have been killed due to an oxygen fire that started in private Sanko University Hospital in southeastern Gaziantep province of Turkey. The main cause of the fire was oxygen which was used for the COVID-19 patients.
Covid patients killed in Turkey hospital were the aged of between 56 to 85 according to the health minister. Also, some people have been injured during this incident. According to the hospital, the fire started in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Sanko University Hospital.
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca of Turkey said on Twitter that 10 patients have been killed in fire incidence. But before this Hospital declared the death of 8 people in a fire incident.
There were many people injured during this incident including Doctors and medical staff. There are almost 50 people who were affected during the fire incident at Sanko University Hospital.
After the Fire incident, the patients have been transferred to the various hospitals that were admitted in the intensive care unit including COVID-19 patients.
Police and fire services controlled the fire in a moment successfully. An investigation has been started to find the real cause of the incident.
President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vice President Fuat Oktay showed their condolences to the families of the victims and hoped for the urgent recovery of those who have been injured.

ترکی کے اسپتال میں آتشزدگی سے متعدد کوویڈ مریض ہلاک
ترکی کے جنوب مشرقی صوبے گازیانپ کے نجی سانکو یونیورسٹی اسپتال میں آکسیجن کی آگ لگنے سے لگ بھگ 10 مریض ہلاک ہوگئے ہیں۔ آتشزدگی کا سب سے بڑا سبب آکسیجن تھا جو COVID-19 مریضوں کے لئے استعمال ہوتا تھا۔
وزیر صحت کے مطابق ، ترکی کے اسپتال میں ہلاک ہونے والے کوویڈ مریضوں کی عمریں 56 سے 85 کے درمیان تھیں۔ نیز ، اس واقعے کے دوران کچھ افراد زخمی بھی ہوئے ہیں۔ اسپتال کے مطابق آگ سانکو یونیورسٹی اسپتال میں انتہائی نگہداشت یونٹ (آئی سی یو) میں لگی۔
ترکی کے وزیر صحت فرحتین کوکا نے ٹویٹر پر بتایا کہ آگ کے واقعات میں 10 مریض ہلاک ہوگئے ہیں۔ لیکن اس سے پہلے کہ اس اسپتال نے آتشزدگی کے واقعے میں 8 افراد کی موت کا اعلان کردیا۔
اس واقعے کے دوران متعدد افراد زخمی ہوئے تھے جن میں ڈاکٹرز اور طبی عملہ بھی شامل تھا۔ سنکو یونیورسٹی اسپتال میں لگ بھگ 50 افراد ایسے ہیں جو آگ لگنے کے واقعے کے دوران متاثر ہوئے تھے۔
آتشزدگی کے واقعے کے بعد ، مریضوں کو مختلف اسپتالوں میں منتقل کردیا گیا ہے جنہیں کویوڈ 19 کے مریضوں سمیت انتہائی نگہداشت کے یونٹ میں داخل کیا گیا تھا۔
پولیس اور فائر سروسز نے ایک لمحہ میں کامیابی کے ساتھ آگ پر قابو پالیا۔ واقعے کی اصل وجہ معلوم کرنے کے لئے تحقیقات کا آغاز کردیا گیا ہے۔
