Chemistry 2nd Year  Pairing Scheme 2021 Marks Distribution

SECTION A ( Objective Part) : MCQs

There are 17 MCQs in section A.it is the objective part of the paper. Each MCQ carries 1 mark individually and there is no choice of any MCQ as in the subjective part paper. 20 minutes are allowed to complete this section. Each MCQ carries equal marks.

As there is limited time so you just need to focus on this section very carefully. After completing Section A, you will be given the Subjective type of paper. The subjective type of paper consists of two sections.

SECTION  B (Subjective Part): Short Questions

Section B is a subjective type of paper. It only consists of short questions.it consists of 3 short question answers. while Question No. 2 and 3 have 12 short parts from which you need to solve 8 parts of your choice. Question No. 4 contains 9 parts from which you need to solve 6 questions of your choice but remember that each part carries equal marks weightage. Each part carries 2 marks individually.

QUESTION NO. 2: Any 8 questions from 12 (16 marks questions)

you just need to solve any 8 parts from 12 and each part carries 2 marks.

3 questions from Chapter 2  and from Chapter 3.

1 question from Chapter 4 and from Chapter 1.

2 questions from Chapter 15 and Chapter 16.

QUESTION NO. 3: Any 8 questions from 12 (16 marks questions)

Candidates need to solve any 8 questions from 12 and each question carries 2 marks.

3 questions from Chapter 5 and from Chapter 13.

1 question from Chapter 6 and Chapter 7.

2 questions from Chapter 8 and Chapter 12.

QUESTION NO. 4: And 6 questions from 9 (12 marks questions)

you just need to solve any 6 questions from 9 and each question carries 2 marks.

2 questions from Chapter 9.

3 questions from Chapter 11, Chapter 10, and from chapter 14.

SECTION  C (Subjective Part): Long Questions

Section C is a subjective part paper. But it only consists of long questions. It consists of 5 long answer questions, each question is of two parts, part a and part b from which you have to attempt 3 questions out of 5.Solve any 3 questions from 5.

QUESTION NO 5: Part (a) Chapter 1 + Part (b) Chapter 2.

QUESTION NO 6: Part (a)  Chapter 6 + Part (b) Chapter 16.

QUESTION NO 7: Part (a) Chapter 7 + Part (b) Chapter 9.

QUESTION NO 8: Part (a) Chapter 8 + Part (b)  Chapter 11.

QUESTION NO 9: Part (a)  Chapter 10 + Part (b)  Chapter 12.
