2nd Year Biology Section Wise Detail/Marks Distribution

SECTION A ( Objective Part) : MCQs

There are 17 MCQs in section A. It is the objective part of the paper. Each MCQ carries 1 mark individually and there is no choice of any MCQ as in the subjective part paper. 20 minutes are allowed to complete this section. Each MCQ carries equal marks as each MCQ consists of 1 mark.

As there is limited time so you just need to focus on this section very carefully. After completing Section A of the paper, you will be given the Subjective type of paper. The subjective type of paper consists of two sections which are the short and long subjective type of paper.

SECTION  B (Subjective Part): Short Questions

Section B is a subjective type of paper. It only consists of short questions.it consists of mainly 3 short question answers with their parts. Question No. 2 and 3 have 12 parts from which you need to solve any 8 parts of your choice. Question No. 4 contains 9 parts from which you need to solve 6 questions of your choice but remember that each part carries equal marks weightage. Each part carries 2 marks individually.

QUESTION NO. 2: Any 8 questions from 12 (16 marks questions)

you just need to solve any 8 parts out of 12 and each part carries 2 marks. If we look at which chapter has how many questions, then:

3 questions from Chapter 15 and from Chapter 16.

2 questions from Chapter 23, Chapter 26, and from Chapter 27.

QUESTION NO. 3: Any 8 questions of your choice out of 12 (16 marks questions)

Candidates need to solve any 8 questions from 12 and each question carries 2 marks. If we look at which chapter has how many questions, then:

3 questions from Chapter 17, Chapter 18, Chapter 22, and Chapter 25.

QUESTION NO. 4: Any 6 questions 9 (12 marks questions)

you just need to solve any 6 questions from 9 and each question carries 2 marks. If we look at which chapter has how many questions, then:

2 questions from Chapter 19, Chapter 21, and from Chapter 24.

3 questions from Chapter 20.

SECTION  C (Subjective Part): Long Questions

Section C is a subjective part paper. But it only consists of long questions. It consists of 5 long answer questions, each question is of two parts, part a and part b from which you have to attempt 3 questions out of 5.Solve any 3 questions from 5.
