2nd Year Physics Pairing Scheme 2021 Marks Distribution

SECTION A ( Objective Part) : MCQs

17 MCQs are there in section A.it is the objective part of the paper. Each MCQ consists of 1 mark and there is no choice of any MCQ as in the subjective part paper. 20 minutes are allowed to complete this section. Each MCQ carries equal marks.

As there is limited time so you just need to focus on this section very carefully. After completing Section A, you will be given the Subjective type of paper. The subjective type of paper consists of two sections.

SECTION  B (Subjective Part): Short Questions

Section B is a subjective type of paper. It only consists of short questions.it consists of 3 short question answers. while Question No. 2 and 3 have 12 short parts from which you need to solve 8 parts of your choice. Question No. 4 contains 9 parts from which you need to solve 6 questions of your choice but remember that each part carries equal marks weightage. Each part carries 2 marks individually.

QUESTION NO. 2: Any 8 questions from 12 (16 marks questions)

you just need to solve any 8 parts from 12 and each part carries 2 marks.

4 questions from Chapter 12, Chapter 14, and from Chapter 15.

QUESTION NO. 3: Any 8 questions of your choice from 12 (16 marks questions)

you just need to solve any 8 questions from 12 and each question carries 2 marks.

3 questions from Chapter 13, Chapter 16, Chapter 17, and from Chapter 18.

QUESTION NO. 4: Any 6 questions from 9 (12 marks questions)

Candidates need to solve any 6 questions from 9 and each question carries 2 marks.

3 questions from Chapter 19, Chapter 20, and from Chapter 21.

SECTION  C (Subjective Part): Long Questions

Section C is a subjective part paper. But it only consists of long questions. It consists of 5 long answer questions, each question is of two parts, part a and part b from which you have to attempt 3 questions out of 5.Solve any 3 questions from 5.

QUESTION NO 5: Part (a) Chapter 12 + Part (b) Chapter 13.

QUESTION NO 6: Part (a) Chapter 14 + Part (b)  Chapter 15.

QUESTION NO 7: Part (a)  Chapter 16  + Part (b)  Chapter 18.

QUESTION NO 8: Part (a)  Chapter 17 + Part (b)  Chapter 19.

QUESTION NO 9: Part (a)  Chapter 20  + Part (b)  Chapter 21.

Note: Each Question carries 8 marks.
